As you likely know, Bertie broke a crankshaft back in early February, destroying the engine. We have been waiting for a replacement engine ever since, a supply chain issue.
I guess it was only a matter of time until one of our two hard-working buses broke down too which happened to Peg recently. With only one bus on the road, we’ve had to re-schedule the AM and PM runs temporarily.
Those dark storm clouds appear to be lightening a bit. Bertie’s engine is supposed to arrive in a couple of days and the part to repair Peg is on its way. With luck, we may have both buses back on the road within a couple of weeks. We’ll let you know right away, of course, whenever there is a change.
