As of noon today (Wednesday) GERTIE had carried 9944 passengers! We expect to surpass 10,000 sometime tomorrow, probably on the mid-day run. There are prizes for the 10,000th passenger, including a monthly-pass for May, and gift certificates from Colleen’s, Woodfire Pizza and Grill, and Village Foods! If you were ever thinking of using the bus to get to the Village or the ferry, tomorrow’s mid-day run (between 9:25 AM and 1:45 PM) would be the time to do it!
