GERTIE will be heading to the meeting tonight – she will leave the village at 6:20, Tashtego at 6:25, Silva Bay 6:45, arriving at the Community Hall at 7:00.
The meeting is to discuss fire safety, emergency preparedness, and to share ideas and plans for how we can cope and support each other through the drought. Fire chief Rick Jackson and members of Gabriola Emergency Support Services will be on hand.
