GERTIE – election day special – Monday October 19th
The polling stations for the federal election on October 19th are in the gym at the Gabriola Elementary School (for most residents of the “north” end of the island) and at the Community Hall (for most residents of the “south” end). The polls are open from 7 AM to 7 PM. You can get there in the morning on one of GERTIE’s regular morning A and B routes which start at 6:45 and continue until 8:45 AM. GERTIE is also doing an election-day special that can get you there in the middle of the day at the following times:
And GERTIE can get you there in the afternoon/evening using our regular PM routes which start at 4:15 and continue to 6:40 PM.
GERTIE rides to the polls are free! (Although donations will be accepted.)
