GERTIE always goes to the Potato Cannon Contest on Canada Day! We’ll be leaving from the Folklife Village parking lot Friday at 12:00 noon, around North Rd. to Silva Bay at 12:15, South Rd. at Price at 12:20, the Community Hall at 12:25 and to Brickyard Beach at 12:30. We’ll be heading back by the same route shortly after the last potato is fired (and the Mudgekins have surrendered), but not before everyone has had a chance to get cake!
